ColombiaAngelica and José have been together for more than 15 years and are now married with a son. Over the last two years, they have been serving as youth leaders in Cali, Colombia. Working with their community’s young people has its challenges, but they know it is an important effort.

Angelica says, “We must share the Word, we cannot keep it to ourselves, we must take it to many people, and spread knowledge. The most valuable thing is to see the change in the youth’s faces when they accept the Lord.”

Recently, the couple has had the opportunity to attend Bible League’s Church Planter Training. They have been working on planting a church in the area with different types of people, but they still are putting a big focus on younger people.

José explains, “We want to create a bond with young people and the church. We have learned to listen to the ideas of the youth. It is important to be able to reach them and know their needs.”

Right now, they are nearly finished with their Church Planter Training and leading Bible League’s Project Philip Bible studies with about 50 people via Zoom and in person. José notes, “We thank the Lord for our materials and training. I am very happy because they have served us so much. It is a great blessing to see how people know God through what we have learned in Church Planter Training.”
