Summary
The Publishing Translation and Licensing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in two key areas of administration for the Publishing Group. The Translation role involves managing translation projects, coordinating with translators, ensuring accuracy and consistency in translations, and maintaining project timelines. The Licensing role involves working closely with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and agreements supporting the organization’s growth and protecting its assets.

Duties
- Translation Administration:
- Create and maintain Master Translation Agreements and Scope of Work paperwork on each Contractor’s Publishing Project.
- Collaborate with the Translation Manager to manage a pool of freelance translators or translation agencies
- In cooperation with the Translation Manager:
- Assign translation tasks based on expertise, availability, and project requirements.
- Manage payment schedules with Finance for timely payments to Contractors.
- Collaborate with translators to resolve any linguistic or technical challenges.
- Foster positive relationships with translators, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate project updates, deadlines, and expectations effectively to all parties involved.
- Â Licensing Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of all licensing agreements, contracts, and related documentation.
- Monitor license expiration dates and renewal deadlines.
- Coordinate the application process for new licenses or permits as required.
- Track license fees, payments, and expenses. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Review licensing agreements to verify terms, conditions, and obligations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to address any compliance issues or disputes.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations or licensing requirements that may impact the organization.
- Combined Duties:
- Provide guidance and support to teams regarding procedures and requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and partners.
- To work with Supervisors to streamline processes and procedures as needed to improve efficiencies.
- Additional work as required.
Organizational Relationships
- Reports to: Senior Director of Project Management, Production
- Collaborates with: Director of Project Management, Publishing (Translation processes) and Vice President Publishing (Licensing process)
Qualifications
- Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Project and/or People Management.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in management of Licensing and/or Translation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Project Management systems.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate in a multicultural environment.

Performance Evaluations
You will meet with your manager quarterly in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss your accomplishments and priorities.
