Xhoni is married with one child. He’s 26 years old and lives with his family in Libonik, a tiny village in Albania. He grew up Muslim, but says he wasn’t very committed. He explains, “My parents just celebrated the main religious holidays and they let us free to choose our own paths.”
He learned about Christ’s love when he was a child. A church in his neighborhood had a summer camp that used Project Philip Bible study materials for children. He says, “I was very curious to try new things and had a lot of friends. After the summer camps, I started going to church.”
Those tiny seeds of faith began to blossom, and he longed for the love of God in his life. He says softly, “Time passed by and I thought about the many things I learned about the love of God and Jesus. Until one day, I decided to accept Him as God and Savior in my life. And I realized that I was talking to God, the One Who provides solutions to my problems.”
He’s lived his life for God ever since. He told his parents about God, and they also came to faith. He is so grateful he went to summer camp when he was 10 years old.
He says, “Today, my life is beautiful and full of blessings in the presence of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I am thankful to God that I knew Him since I was a little child because His Word has saved my life from all evil things. I’ve studied all the phases of Project Philip and I want to thank you for every lesson because they are life-changing. The Bible is the living Word of God, through which I know Him and which led me to Him! I thank you and God that these materials came to me for free. Please, continue to provide them because like me, when I was a child, there are many other children who need to be saved. May God bless you!”
