This internship is intentionally structured to be both developmental and deliverable driven. The Finance & Operations Intern will support core finance operations, analysis, and reporting while contributing directly to a defined outcome: updating audit readiness documentation and producing a documented internal control map. While the role is primarily finance-focused (approximately 90%), it includes limited exposure to compliance activities as they intersect with finance operations. This internship duration is expected to be June through early August (based on academic schedule) with up to 32 hours/week.
The Facility Services Manager provides hands-on operational leadership for Bible League International’s Crete, IL facility operations, ensuring the building, grounds, and workplace services are safe, clean, welcoming, and fully operational. This role executes and supports the facilities strategy, policies, and priorities established by the Senior Director of Operations & People Services.
Handle all front desk responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Represent Bible League International to all incoming guests, visitors, vendors, delivery personnel, Bible League board members, partners, and volunteers. Provide a secure premise by patrolling the building, monitoring surveillance equipment, securing entry doors and the general building perimeter, and verifying visitors. Maintain a general knowledge of Bible League International ministry, including programs and materials available. Assist various departments with special administrative projects as requested.
The Cash Operations Manager oversees daily cash positioning, banking relationships, and account reconciliations that enable timely, accurate, and audit ready financial reporting. The role manages general ledger activity (including payroll related entries and donor income), supports investment reporting, drives process improvements, and ensures strong documentation and compliance. This position collaborates across Accounting, Partner Services, HR, Compliance, and Advancement to safeguard cash, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision making.
