Bible League International’s Bible Translation Department selects, trains, and provides support for translation teams to produce Easy-to-Read™ translations of the Bible. Our translation projects are selected according to the needs determined in collaboration with ministry partners.
Our projects are published and used in Scripture Engagement activities focusing on the spiritual formation of individuals and their communities. The Associate Translation Consultant assists in monitoring the progress and quality control of projects. The Associate Translation Consultant checks the quality of a translation by [1] its faithfulness to the original languages (Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic) and [2] its clarity and readability for the receptor audiences. Both are done in keeping with the best contemporary biblical, missiological, and translation scholarship.
The Bible Translation department is in our Hurst, Texas, USA, office until July 2026. After that, our team will be remote.
